Arizona county assessor directory

Assessor, parcel search, recorder and treasurer links for all fifteen Arizona counties, in one table.

Updated 2026-10-02

Every Arizona county has an assessor (who values land and maps parcels), a recorder (who keeps deeds, easements and plats) and a treasurer (who bills and collects property tax). When you are researching a parcel — or selling one you inherited — those three offices hold almost everything a buyer will ask about.

The table below links each county's offices directly. Links marked unchecked link point to official county domains that we found but have not yet opened ourselves; if one has moved, the county's main website will have the current address. The county name links to our page on that county, which adds water designation, land ownership and planning contacts.

How to use these offices

  1. Start with the assessor. Search by owner, address or APN to confirm the parcel, its size and how it is classified. Assessor acreage and maps are for taxation; they are not a survey.
  2. Then the treasurer. Search the same parcel number to see whether taxes are current. If they are not, read our page on selling land with back taxes.
  3. Then the recorder. Pull the most recent deed and anything recorded against the parcel — easements, liens, restrictions. Our easements guide explains what to look for.

Or skip the first step: the parcel research tool reads the assessor's parcel layer for you and links back to the county record.

General information, not legal, tax or survey advice. First 48 Offers LLC is a real estate investment company that buys land. It is not a law firm, brokerage, surveyor or title company. Arizona statutes, county procedures and agency boundaries change, and every parcel turns on its own facts. Verify anything important with the county, the agency named, or an Arizona attorney before relying on it.
